About the Event
Learn the ins and outs of sugar cookie decorating.
Jillian Mora, the baker behind A Traveling Cupcake, is coming to Creatures of Whim!
This beginner cookie class will teach you all about icing and decorating sugar cookies. No baking experience is required. You will learn how to prepare royal icing, color icing, and fill piping bags. You'll also gain an assortment of decorating techniques such as marbling, outlining, and brush embroidery before decorating your own set of spring sugar cookies.
Everyone will receive:
- 6 undecorated cookies (the final desgisns are pictured above!)
- 4 icing colors
- a set of tools and sprinkles
- plus a copy of Jillian's sugar cookie recipe!
**If you are worried about getting icing on your clothes, please bring your own apron (or wear clothes that can get messy!)**
Want to set up your own sugar cookie class?
Take-home kits are available, and you do not have to attend the workshop to purchase one. This would be perfect to share with friends and family. Each kit contains the same amount of supplies as you'll get at the workshop.
