About the Event
Join us for some ritual magick just before the witches new year! On Samhain, the veil between the physical world and spiritual world is at its thinnest— making it easier for spirits, particularly ancestors, to commune with us. This is a time to connect with our ancestors and set intentions for the year to come🕯🕊
This ceremony was co-created with Spirit (as always) to include the influences of the Scorpio sun / Capricorn moon and Samhain energy... it feels dynamic, inspiring, reflective, focused, grounding and deeply profound🌬🕯💨

Our Ceremonies
Our ceremonies ebb and flow with the energies of the season and the specific ceremony itself. Therefore, the practices may or may not include: introspective journaling, open heart discussion, ancestral drum journey, sound medicine, ecstatic dance, and so much more!

📢 Important Update
Our intention is not to replicate or reproduce traditional ceremonies of the Central and South American indigenous people's practices of cacao.
We openly acknowledge that our facilitator's ancestral lineage is different than that of the medicine we serve, but she has been initiated into the knowledge of cacao medicine to use in modern cacao ceremonies, not in traditional indigeous ceremonies. Most of the information that has been shared with Autumn has come from the Zapotec leader, Maria, from Oaxaca, Mexico.
We invite curiosity and questions. We encourage you to use your voice and to give feedback regarding this offering.
We are here to serve and to listen.
The Medicine
Ceremonial grade cacao is a highly intelligent and ancient plant medicine from Central and South America, that has many physical and energetic benefits when consumed with intention. Autumn is a passionate lover of cacao and strives to build culturally informed practices by sharing the indigenous roots of what we know as chocolate. Come to learn some of the rich history of the Theobroma Cacao tree (with a name that translates to 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘥𝘴) and feel the heart-opening effects of her loving spirit.
Cacao Trade and Sourcing
We'll be drinking and learning about Ora's Spiced Oaxacan cacao☕️ This ceremonial grade cacao is sourced from Ademayach in Guatemala— a 180 hectare farm, that currently has 125 families in its community and where cacao cultivation remains to be 90% of this communities source of income.
