Intro to Broom Making

Brooms are a classic symbol associated with witches. In modern practices, brooms are valued as tools for clearing negativity and attracting prosperity.

Dustin Cecil, the person behind Broomtown, will walk you through making a cobweb broom. Using tassels of broom-corn (also known as sorghum) we’ll follow the traditional method of broom making. At the end of the workshop, everyone will have at least one completed broom.

All materials will be provided. We will also go over basic weaving techniques so no experience is required to participate!

This workshop will take place at Creatures of Whim and participants are required to wear masks.
